Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the website at databright.cloud, operated by Databright Cloud Solutions (“Databright Cloud Solutions”, “we”, “us”). It does not cover services we deliver under a separate client agreement — those are governed by the data protection terms in that agreement.

What we do not collect

We want to be specific, because “we value your privacy” statements usually are not. This website does not:

• set cookies or use local storage;
• run analytics, tracking pixels, session recording, or advertising scripts;
• offer accounts, logins, or contact forms;
• build profiles of visitors or sell, rent, or share personal information.

What we do receive

Information you send us

Links on this site open your own email application addressed to info@databright.cloud. If you write to us, we receive whatever you include — typically your name, email address, employer, and a description of your situation. We use it only to respond to you and to progress a possible or existing engagement.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard technical request data, which can include your IP address, the page requested, timestamp, referrer, and browser user-agent string. These logs exist for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. We do not use them to identify individual visitors or to build marketing profiles.

Web fonts

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore makes a request to Google’s servers, and Google receives your IP address and user-agent as part of that request. We do not control that processing; it is governed by Google’s own privacy terms. If you would rather avoid it, a content blocker that blocks fonts.googleapis.com will stop the request — the site remains fully readable with fallback system fonts.

Why we are allowed to process it

Where the UK/EU GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests for operating a secure website and for responding to business inquiries you initiate, and on steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract where you are asking us about an engagement.

How long we keep it

Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of a business relationship, then deleted on a routine schedule. Hosting logs are retained for a short operational period as configured by our hosting provider.

Who else sees it

We use service providers to run this site and our email — principally our web host and our email provider. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we hold very little, most requests resolve quickly.

International transfers

Databright Cloud Solutions operates in the United States and India, and our providers may process data in either location. Where personal data moves between jurisdictions, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers under applicable transfer mechanisms.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles personal information, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
