Our company

The company behind the work.

Databright Cloud Solutions is a data, cloud, and AI engineering consultancy working across the United States and India, focused on regulated and rights-sensitive, data-intensive operations. We were built around a simple frustration: too much technology advice stops at the slide deck, and too much delivery stops at go-live.

Our mission
Make modern data, cloud, and AI platforms something an organization can genuinely own — not just buy.

We take on the work where strategy meets delivery: the architecture decisions, the migrations, the data quality, the governance, and the handover. The measure of a Databright Cloud Solutions engagement is whether your team is more capable after we leave than before we arrived.

Our vision
A market where technology claims can be checked — and the systems behind them can be explained.

Data and AI are increasingly making decisions that affect real people: what a property is worth, whether a claim is paid, how a customer is treated. We want to help build the kind of systems where someone can ask why did it decide that? and actually get an answer, backed by evidence.

What we value

Six commitments you can hold us to.

These are not aspirations pinned to a wall. Each one is something you should be able to check against how an engagement actually runs.

01

Plain answers

If the honest answer is “this will take longer than you want” or “you do not need this yet,” you get that answer. We would rather lose a proposal than win one on an assumption we know is shaky.

02

Tradeoffs in the open

Every architecture choice costs something — money, flexibility, time, or complexity. We put the alternatives and their consequences in front of you and let you make the call. No decisions buried in an appendix.

03

Build for whoever runs it next

A system your team cannot operate is not finished, however elegant it is. Documentation, monitoring, and knowledge transfer are part of delivery, not a phase that gets cut when the timeline slips.

04

Evidence over assertion

We cite our sources, separate a design target from a measured result, and say plainly when something is unproven. You will find that discipline in our published writing as well as our proposals.

05

Governance is not a later phase

Security, data quality, access control, and compliance are cheaper and better when designed in from the start. Retrofitting them is the single most common expensive rework we get called in to fix.

06

Seniority stays on the work

The people who scope your engagement are the people who deliver it. We do not sell a principal and staff a junior team — which is also why we take on fewer engagements at once.

How we work

A small senior team, across two time zones.

Our culture is mostly a consequence of that structure. Small teams cannot hide behind process, and two time zones only work if the writing is good.

We write things down

Decisions, tradeoffs, and open questions live in writing, not in someone's head or a meeting nobody recorded. It is what makes a distributed team work — and what makes handover possible at the end.

We work in your reality, not a reference architecture

Every organization has constraints that never appear in a vendor diagram: the system nobody wants to touch, the team that is already at capacity, the contract that expires next year. Those constraints shape the design.

We would rather show than promise

Where we can prove something with a working slice of the real system, we do that before asking you to commit to the full program.

We publish what we learn

Our Insights are written for the people who have to operate the result — with sources, caveats, and the parts vendors leave out. If we would not put our name on a claim publicly, we will not make it in a proposal either.

Across the US and India

Working across both means genuine overlap with clients in either region, and a deliberate handoff discipline rather than an accidental one.

Want to know whether we are the right fit?

The fastest way to find out is a conversation about the problem in front of you. If we are not the right people for it, we will tell you that too.
